Faux leather, a matching strap, and a basic kit lens. Olympus is pulling a Leica move here. Luckily the price isn’t too insane. It runs about $150 or so more than the standard camera with the same lens. $899 versus $749 depending where you shop. Not too bad. If you were going to buy the camera new as that kit…the new leatherette looks nice. Then again, you can also go to places like Aki Asahi and get camera skins for under $20. They eventually make the new cameras as well.
E-M10 II is an awesome camera, and quite small! I highly recommend them if you don’t need the “bulk” , extra buttons, or weather sealing of an E-M1. (bulk is a relative term…) You still get all the functionality and customization as well as the same image quality. Can’t beat that! I actually like the feel of the 10 series over the 5 series.
You can order the black or silver E-M10 from amazon by clicking here.
Olympus is already taking pre-orders directly on their website. They should be available in March some time.
