X100 Panorama

X100 Panorama

Click the panorama to see a larger version. This was a hand held panorama with the Fuji X100. I happened to find myself on the 12th floor of a building in Ocean City, Maryland. I just shot a series of vertical images from inside the glass. (note the odd reflection lines in part of the sky) Pano software has been getting better and better at stitching handheld images. The water in the 100% version only has two slightly visible errors! Panorama mode in camera is decent on far away subjects as well, but it only produces a JPG file. I never use this. The Fuji lens is so close to the body, that just rotating the camera around itself while shooting a handheld pano is pretty decent unless you have objects within 10-20 feet. Fun little camera to keep handy!

My Friday photo posts are designed to be an outlet for images I create for myself outside of my usual work. I encourage people to really play and experiment and do something different in their creative art regularly. You can follow my twitter for more fun images throughout the week.
